NFL / OUR APPROACH

Evidence first.

Understand what each signal means, where it comes from, and what it cannot tell you.

Prices, precisely compared.

Research comparisons use the same event, player, market, side, and line. Best price means the greatest decimal payout among available quotes. Fixed-payout pick’em entries are excluded. A price difference is not expected value or a prediction of profit.

Movement, without shortcuts.

Opening/current price comparisons require an opening quote from the same book at the current line. We measure percentage-point changes in implied probability. We do not infer a move from unrelated alternate lines or claim a reason for the move without supporting evidence.

History is context.

Charts compare past performance against the selected current line. They show the available sample, opponent, season, and week. Historical hit rates do not establish future probabilities; pushes are shown separately.

Opportunity before output.

Player research shows targets, carries, touches, pass attempts for quarterbacks, team shares, offensive snaps, and air yards per target. Role windows stay within the latest matched team and season; a prior-window change is shown only when both windows have the requested number of games. Snaps are not routes run. Red-zone and inside-five opportunities come from a dated play-by-play snapshot of completed games, excluding nullified plays and two-point conversions. Uncovered games remain missing, not zero.

Matchups and availability.

Opponent history aggregates results allowed to a position group; it is not adjusted for opponent strength and is not an individual coverage assignment. Injury listings include available report dates. Absence from a report does not confirm active status. Venue, roof, surface, rest, and recorded conditions are joined by event teams and date. No live weather forecast or travel-distance model is currently connected.

Intelligence with provenance.

Intel uses source tools to investigate current prices, player history, availability, and matchups. Ask it to explain the supporting and opposing evidence. An explanation is interpretation, and missing information should remain unknown. Verify source timestamps and prices before acting.

Your research belongs to you.

Guest saves are stored in this browser. Signed-in users can synchronize account-owned records when research storage is configured. In-app monitors refresh while the workspace is open and visible. Targets surface available quotes; they are not wager orders or delivery promises.

A desk that remembers.

Review baselines and up to 30 observed quote changes per saved selection are stored in this browser. These are sampled observations, not a complete price archive. Changes are surfaced only after a successful retrieval within two minutes, at the original saved line. Started games leave the pregame watchlist.

Transparent about coverage.

The displayed timestamp records retrieval, not necessarily the provider’s last update. Missing quotes and unavailable history are not filled with invented values. Development example data is labeled and never returned by the production research API.
